The History Of Farah

Monsour Farah began the Company’s El Paso story on a San Francisco Street in 1920. Shirts were manufactured under the “Apache” label and retailed at 35 cents. In 1924, business was moved to South Oregan Street, where shirt production continued.

During the depression era, Farah produced clothing to match the times - blue and chambray shirts, which sold for 37 cents, bib overalls and blue denim pants which sold for 50 cents.

The business moved again, to Leon Street, then to an upper floor of the Old El Paso Times building on San Francisco Street.
